On December 9th, our boy’s basketball teams travelled to GSA’s old building to play KASA. Our JV team won the game, 83-34. JV’s strongest player in this game was Montrell Garrison, with 23 points. After our JV game, our Varsity team played, and won 52-20. Varsity’s strongest player was Lavon Weathers, who was formerly a student at KASA, and scored 17 points. GSA scholars came out to support our team, and we won both games against our rivals.

As December comes to an end, our basketball teams have the same record, 3-3. When GSA scholars come back from break, we have a Varsity game on our first day back against ConneXions at home, and January 4th both JV and Varsity play against Silver Oak Academy at 5:30 at home.
